1997 Ferrari F50 – For many, the F50 is one of the most iconic and desirable of the ‘Big Five’ collection of Ferraris. Boasting incredible rarity, being one of just 31 originally delivered in the dramatic colour of Giallo Modena, this example of one of Maranello’s true icons is offered from over a decade of single ownership. Powered by the almighty Formula One-derived 4.7-litre V-12 engine, producing 513 horsepower, the F50 was Maranello’s first fully carbon fibre monocoque supercar. Over time, it has developed a true cult following and is now regarded as one of Ferrari’s most groundbreaking hypercars, and arguably the finest analogue supercar ever built by Maranello. Delivered new to Italy, it has covered just 9,100 kilometres from new. This true icon of Ferrari history offers a rare opportunity for serious collectors and would be the highlight of any collection and is estimated to sell for between $3,800,000 – $4,500,000 USD.
*The 1997 Ferrari F50 will be open for bidding on the Sotheby’s Sealed platform from 2 October, 12:00 a.m. HKT to 5 October, 10:00 a.m. HKT.
