Sotheby’s invites you to a moment of music, wine and sharing in honour of the closing of the 15th edition of the Festival Musique & Vin au Clos Vougeot, with an exceptional sale in support of the actions of Musique & Vin au Clos Vougeot.

Founded by Aubert de Villaine, Bernard Hervet, the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Domaine Faiveley, the Festival Musique & Vin au Clos Vougeot aims to create moments of emotion between internationally renowned musicians and Burgundy winemakers. Thanks to the support of generous patrons and partners, the efforts of the artistic advisors Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Musique & Vin au Clos Vougeot continues its mission to support “Young Talents” artists alongside some of the greatest figures of the classical music world.

The 15th Edition of the Festival is held from Saturday 24 June–Sunday 2 July 2023. During these eight days, Musique & Vin au Clos Vougeot offers its audience exclusive wine tastings and unique concerts, in a spirit of sharing and simplicity, to bring to life this unique encounter between Wine and Musical Excellence.

In parallel with this music Festival, Sotheby’s is privileged to have worked closely with Musique & Vin au Clos de Vougeot to arrange the first and extraordinary online auction which will be closing on 3 July at 2:00 PM CET and will offer rare bottles donated directly by the most prestigious Domaines of Burgundy and Champagne as well as remarkable experiences.

Proceeds from the auction will go to support the Instrumental Fund, the creation of scholarships and concerts for young talents to enable them to practice their art in the best possible conditions.

This Auction therefore provides the only opportunity to secure stunning wines from the most renowned vineyards in the world.
