Jewellery
Tuesday 20 July at 11.00, 14.00 and Wednesday 21 July at 18.00
The strength of the art market, with the continued success of our Monaco Jewellery sales, has ensured the confidence of our clients. There are over 400 lots featuring the biggest names in Jewellery: Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, Fouquet, Marina B. David Webb, Sterlé, Buccellati, along with names rarely seen at auction like Kutchinsky, Gilbert Albert, Verdura and Fouquet.
Exceptional stones will be shining brightly at Le Rocher over the three sales: an extraordinary sapphire from Burma weighing 58.53 cts set in a ring – a unique piece by Chanel and the biggest sapphire that Chanel has mounted in a ring; white, yellow and pink diamonds in a range of shapes and sizes, including a 20.14 ct pear-cut diamond by Cartier and a unique set of emeralds ranging from 3 to over 70 cts in size. The emerald is making a comeback this year, so this is an investment not to be missed!
Artcurial will offer some thirty lots in the jewellery sales from the designer Repossi. This collaboration is a chance to look back at the history of this unique marque, with pieces from their heritage.
« Our sales are all tailored to present a broad spectrum that shows the history of jewellery. Coming from several private collec-tions, there are some notable pieces by Cartier ranging from the Art Deco period to more contemporary times. For example, there will be a rare opportunity to acquire a brooch from the iconic Tutti Frutti range by the jewellery house. »
