Gallery Beck & Eggeling (Düsseldorf – Germany) as Guest in Basel, Switzerland
From 11th to 17th June 2018, Beck & Eggeling International Fine Art and Galerie Meyer, Oceanic Art, Paris, will be showing a joint exhibition in the premises of Angela Berney Fine Arts in the ‘Andlauer Hof’, directly on Münsterplatz in the old town of Basel.
In the beautiful, wood-paneled rooms of Angela Berney’s gallery, the works of e.g. Karl Schmidt-Rottluff and Emil Nolde are in a tense dialogue with the artifacts of the indigenous peoples of Oceania and the Arctic Circle, whose formal language exercised a significant influence on the artists of Expressionism.
Furthermore, Beck & Eggeling presents a selection of sculptures by the Spanish artist Manolo Valdés and a selection of ZERO works by the artist Heinz Mack.
